About Me
For over a decade I have worked as the Director of Styling for Madewell, guiding the shifting shapes and silhouettes to a place where easy-does-it denim and casual confidence rules. I oversee a team of stylists and together we are the gatekeepers of the strong and simple narrative that plays out in our catalogs, web styling, look books and advertising. Over the years I've collaborated with Pamela Hanson, Matteo Montinari, Annemarieke Van Drimmelen, Matt Jones, Scott Trindle, Matthew Brookes and Venetia Scott. I've learned about brand-building from the inspiring Mickey Drexler and Jenna Lyons.
My career began in magazines almost 20 years ago where I worked in the fashion departments of In Style, Vogue, Teen Vogue, and YM. It was exactly what I dreamed of doing when I was a kid growing up in Miami. But somehow luck led me to a new brand called Madewell about 11 years ago and my life took a turn I never could have expected.
I have two children and live in Brooklyn with my husband, photographer Michael Fine. Together we have built our own brand called Quiet Town; Simple, colorful bathroom accessories for the curated and conscience home. www.quiettownhome.com
